Opportunity Knocks For Café Operator At Brambuk

An exciting opportunity for an experienced operator has arisen at the Brambuk café and Member for Western Victoria, Jaala Pulford is encouraging interested applicants to submit an Expression of Interest.
The opportunity comes at an exciting time for Brambuk, with $5.8 million in funding from the Victorian State Budget 2021 to reinvigorate the precinct. The investment will upgrade buildings, including the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, refresh activity spaces for visitors, and develop new environmental and cultural programs.

Parks Victoria and the Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation, Barengi Gadjin Land Council and Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation are working together to ensure Brambuk provides a unique cultural learning experience for future visitors.

It is also a time of increasing visitation to the region and the heritage-listed Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, while the world-class 160km Grampians Peaks Trail is also due for completion in springtime this year.

This EOI provides a unique opportunity for a knowledgeable operator to provide catering for events and functions at the site, showcase Indigenous bush tucker and ingredients, increase local employment opportunities, and support Traditional Owner businesses and suppliers.

Applications close at midnight AEST on Sunday 11 July 2021. Visit the Parks Victoria website for more information – www.parks.vic.gov.au/eoi.
